Biography

Jose Albiac is a researcher in Environmental Economics. He holds a Master's and Doctoral degrees in Agricultural Economics from the University of Illinois (Urbana). He is a professor in the Department of Economic Analysis at the University of Zaragoza and previously worked as a researcher at the Agrifood Research and Technology Center (CITA, Spain). His research specializes in environmental and natural resource economics, environmental and agricultural policies, water management, groundwater, ecosystems protection, nonpoint pollution, water scarcity and droughts, and climate change.
